Business Overview
Floreon Technology is a developer of durable bioplastic materials made from made from crops like corn and sugar cane, providing a renewable substitute for oil-based plastics. Floreon biopolymers are made using 70-90% plant-based raw materials giving the materials a 7x lower carbon footprint than their fossil-based counterparts whilst producing the same physical and mechanical performance. The Company have a portfolio of three materials with differing end-use applications across toys, automotive, electrical & electronic, building and construction, and medical devices with an initial focus on their Therma-Tech material, a world first in achieving a UL94V-0 fire resistance rating using a halogen-free flame retardant within PLA.

CPI and Floreon are currently engaging to determine the technical and strategic alignment between the company’s with a strong focus on the formulation and optimisation of material composition and performance. The team have had initial engagements focused around the integration of waste leather powder into their material to enhance the performance of the Therma-Tech technology. The CPI Enterprises team will continue to help guide the future development of the company through a position on their Board.
