New ceo for High Value Manufacturing Catapult

Set to take up the position from 1st October, Elsy is the holder of a silver medal from the Royal Academy of Engineering for his outstanding contribution to British engineering. He is also a chartered engineer, a fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and a former director and trustee of Engineering UK.

He joins the catapult from his previous role as chief executive for gearless traction drive technology manufacturer, Torotrak.
