Graphene Pilot Plant in Action
19 Aug 2015
Applied Graphene Materials (AGM) is a leading innovator in the manufacturer of Graphene.
Widely regarded as the forerunner in the race to commercialise Graphene, AGM spun out of Durham University in 2010 and is working with industrial partners to investigate different market applications.
AGM worked with CPI to build a Graphene production plant. Located at Wilton in the North East of England, the customised plant is capable of producing one tonne of Graphene nanoplatelets annually and is based upon the company’s proprietary production methodology. AGM are currently expanding both their capacity to manufacture graphene nanoplatelets and their capacity to incorporate these effectively in a range of different host materials.
