25 Jun 2019
CPI, along with other High Value Manufacturing Catapult partners, have organised and are taking part in an 800km cycle ride to raise money for charity.
The cyclists will test their endurance in this demanding challenge which will take them from Bristol to Glasgow in just 5 days from the 1st — 5th July. They will stop off at each of the partner centres along the way, cycling in to CPI Wilton on Wednesday evening to complete the third day of the challenge. Thursday will see the cyclists call at both CPI sites in Darlington and Sedgefield before making their way further North to Gretna Green.
The full route is as follows:
Day 1 Bristol to Coventry
Day 2 Coventry to Sheffield
Day 3 Sheffield to Middlesbrough
Day 4 Middlesbrough to Gretna Green
Day 5 Gretna Green to Glasgow
All of the money raised by CPI will go to the Middlesbrough Football Club (MFC) Foundation. The MFC Foundation aims to raise aspirations and improve the life chances of young people and adults across Teesside. They work in some of the most disadvantaged areas of Teesside, engaging with those who are hard to reach through the delivery of inspiring sport, education, health and inclusion projects.
