Join Our Consortium Building Workshops
We invite you to participate in one of our consortium-building workshops aimed at planning how to create a UK-wide scheme for the take-back and remanufacture of autoinjector devices (sometimes also called pen injectors). The event is being organised by CPI, an independent Technology and Innovation Centre and Owen-Mumford, a leading manufacturer of pen injector products with financial support from Innovate UK through their Sustainable Medicines Manufacturing Industry Programme.
Why Attend?
Our goal is to significantly reduce the environmental impact of packaging and delivering injectable pharmaceutical drug formulations to patients. We seek pre-competitive, industry-wide participation in a pilot project to prove that remanufacturing of these devices can be done in a way which maintains patient safety while delivering both commercial and environmental benefits to the whole supply chain.
By attending this workshop, you will have the opportunity to:
- Hear about the rationale behind the project proposal and synergies with existing sustainability initiatives in the sector.
- Hear about how the project will be funded and how we propose it would operate.
- Shape the design of the project through collaborative discussions.
- Explain how your organisation could contribute towards the successful delivery of the project and why you see it being important to the industry.
Get Involved
Your insights are crucial to developing a successful public-private partnership that will drive impactful change in the way these products are designed, made and delivered.
