Formech 686
Versatile vacuum forming machine with a forming area of 646mm x 620mm
Vacuum forming is a process that involves heating a sheet of plastic until it is malleable and then stretching it over a cooler mould surface whilst applying a vacuum. Once the plastic has cooled, the formed plastic part can be trimmed from the remaining plastic sheet. The Formech 686 is a versatile semi-automated system with a maximum forming area of 646 x 620mm. Rapid response quartz heaters with 6 independently controllable zones provides accurate heat control for consistent, high definition results. The system is also equipped with a TT-168 temperature control unit with allows the bolster to remain a constant temperature to ensure the quality of the moulding.
