Foil Stamper
This tool allows the direct patterning of metals onto a substrate by applying a normal force to heated foil using a patterned stamping die.
Typically the foil comprises a metal such as aluminum which is tailored to polyester backing material using an adhesive which break downs when heat is applied, allowing separation. The metal is subsequently transferred to the desired substrate leaving the design of the die on the surface.
