Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC)
The Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC)is a thermo analytical technique in which the difference in the amount of heat required to increase the temperature of a sample and reference is measured as a function of temperature.
This is used to track phase transitions within a material in order to assess suitability for specific applications. The DSC tool analyses material on the milligram scale and is capable of a variety of simple routines including cycling stepping and holding temperature up to 350ºC.
