Contact Angle Measurement
The contact angle measurement utilises the static sessile drop method to determine the contact angle a known liquid makes with an interface.
If multiple liquids are used, the instrument’s software can be used to calculate surface free energy (both dispersive and polar components). This information can be used to determine the wettability of a surface, which is crucial in the development of coating processes.
