The use of analytical technologies in continuous biomanufacturing
Continuous manufacturing requires the use of process analytical technology (PAT). A major component of PAT is the integration of analytical technologies into continuous manufacturing testbeds. Several possible analytical technologies may be useful as PAT but require development and demonstration in continuous biologics testbeds.
CPI alongside PALL, SCIEX, BiologIC Technologies, and BioPharma Services, is part of the UKRI-funded project: 'Integrating Continuous Technologies Rapid Delivery of Cost Effective Biotherapeutics to Patients', which will develop a continuous manufacturing testbed integrating PAT technology.
Discover how we tested several analytical technologies, including an index of refractivity (IOR), infra-red (IR), Raman, 2D fluorescence and mass spectroscopy for their potential use as PAT, as part of this project. Hear from the project partner organisations about their experience of using these techniques.
