CPI’s collaboration with the University of Liverpool plays a critical role in advancing innovation and regional economic development. Building on over a decade of partnership, this relationship was deepened through the Knowledge Centre for Materials Chemistry (KCMC) and formalised in 2022 with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Combining CPI’s expertise in translational innovation with the University’s world-class chemistry research, the partnership has enabled impactful projects like the £10 million Intracellular Drug Delivery Centre and the Microbials Accelerator programme. Together, they are driving transformative R&D efforts that underpin the Liverpool City Region’s Life Sciences Investment Zone and deliver significant societal and economic benefits.
